Dallas Wedding Photographers Top Favorite Wedding Venues in North Texas
Being a Wedding Photographer for almost 10 years now, I have seen my fair share of breath taking wedding venues. I want to share my top favorites with all of you newly engaged brides, to better assist you in picking your dream venue. I hope this helps take a little stress off of your planning and narrowing down!
These are not in any particular order, as they are all my favorites!
The Springs in Valley View, Texas
The Springs Events Venues are all over the map these days! I myself got married when The Springs was fairly new and starting out. I definitely have a special sweet spot in my heart for all Springs venues, but this particular location absolutely takes the cake for me! It most definitely gives off a regal, Kentucky Derby vibe to me and I'm all about it.
The first time I visited this location, I drove up with a coordiator friend of mine just to check it out, and I haven't been able to stop talking about it since! We decided we wanted to do a styled shoot here to help get more attention to the brand new location.
Most of the Springs locations are built from the ground up with custom work, but this location was actually bought as is and belonged to a family that previously resided in it! Just wait till you see the kitchen are, it really is unbelievable.
This venue has tons of space for getting ready. The bridal suite has a bathroom attached with a full shower and garden tub as well as tons of windows to let in lots of natural light. Photographers dream!
The grooms suite comes equipped with a pool table and lounging couches and chairs for the full relaxing wedding day experience.
After you walk down the grand stairs, you are met with so much open space and light! It also has a separate bar area where cocktail tables can be laid out.
For your ceremony, you have tons of options. They have a yard where they can set up chairs for an outdoor ceremony, or you can choose the adorable little chapel where you can get the quaint and cozy feel!
Either way, you're sure to have an amazing experience, and unbelievable photos!
The French Farmhouse | Collinsville, Texas
This venue is fairly new, but is already booking weddings 2 years out! If you want to snag a day here, make sure to do it fast or you'll be rearranging your date!
I know that I would absolutely change my date if I needed to just to enjoy my wedding day here at the French Farmhouse.
The owners did not skimp out when designing, building and decorating this heart-stirring venue. Every little detail is perfectly thought of, and the owners are so incredible sweet and helpful throughout your big day!
I had a chance to meet Kelsey one of the owners who is so down to earth and incredibly accessible. She even allowed us photographers to sit in her office at her desk when it was time to eat!
I don't know about you but I am truly loving all the light blue and periwinkles for weddings and this venue precisely caters to that theme. This is the ideal venue for the bride who wants a southern flare to her wedding but also wants to keep it very modern and classy. With so much white you really cannot go wrong with choosing a color scheme.
What I love the most about this venue is the countless decorating possibilities. You can either keep in minimal because the venue is already decorated so grand, or you can add florals to the doors, fire places and stairways to add even more pop!
Again, either way you have it your day is guaranteed to be marvelous when choosing this venue!
Montclaire | Colleyville, Tx
This venue is for the classy bride for sure! Once you enter the long driveway to head towards this stone building, you're already feeling swanky.
From the chateau like terrace in the back, to the marble floors and staircase, you're sure to wow your guests as they walk into your ceremony and reception. Every inch and corner is photogenic and perfectly styled.
Cant you just picture yourself up on that balcony with your bouquet and new hubs?!
Definitely check them out, they're a major diamond in the rough!
Old Quail Run Farm | Sherman, Texas
If you want something all inclusive, this is your place. Jennifer, the owner does it all! She does the floral arrangements, the catering, the cake and the tablescapes! She even has musical connections, so if you want something a little different with an acoustic guitarist, she's got it covered.
This was seriously the most impressive wedding I photographed in 2020, and it was all because of the uniqueness this venue and the owner had to offer.
Its nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the Dallas lifestyle up north in Sherman Texas on a charming and well manicured piece of land that any southern bride would swoon over.
While the bride and her tribe relax in the bridal room equipped with a bed, bathroom and garden tub, Jennifer and her team take care of everything with what seems like such ease and patience. Im not even sure she broke a sweat the whole day!
When the sun dips low and the stars come out, this venue really transforms into a fairytale dream with strands of bulb lights that drape across the reception dinner tables and really gives you the feel of romance and elegance.
You seriously will not be disappointed with this place! Contact Jennifer and tell her Bailey Crane sent you!
La Cour Venue | Mckinney, Texas
La Cour really is breath of fresh chic air when is comes to the area that it resides. Most of the venues in the Mckinney area are targeting more towards the rustic, country bride. Although this venue is tucked away down an old country road, you're pleasantly surprised when you enter the gates to find a gorgeous, modern and industrial location. Perfect for the urban bride who wants lots of twinkling lights and brick backdrop.
The owner Amy is one of my favorite venue owners in the area and so down to earth and easy to talk to. She's always very eager to get in there and help out in anyway she can!
Check out that pompas grass behind the ceremony site, it definitely caters to the boho bride!
I don't have enough great things to say about this venue as it really truly is one of my all time favorite venues I've ever shot it!
